Film and the arts are major models through which we can enhance the visibility of the region by celebrating what nature has provided into us. The Awards Ceremony will be used to recognize the various individuals and groups who have played key roles in the promotion of the arts as a form of cultural experience within the region and also to highlight how this can be used to promote the region as a tourist destination. This will go a long way in inaugurating cultural activities within the region and developing latent talent. We hereby appeal to well wishers to support the event. The event will be held on the 14th – 15th December 2012 at the Kisumu Social Centre. Free entry. There will also be performing arts presentations to be judged.
